Enrolling in Your Local School

In NSW public education, every school has a local enrolment area based on where families live. Children who live within the designated area are guaranteed a place at their local public school. Families living outside the area can still apply for enrolment, depending on available places and placement criteria.

Before enrolling, families should confirm their local school by using the NSW Department of Education’s School Finder tool. This helps ensure a smooth enrolment process and assists schools with planning for new students.

Tiny Tops at Table Top Public School

Tiny Tops is Table Top Public School’s Kindergarten Readiness Program, designed to help children feel confident and connected before starting big school. Through play, exploration and gentle introduction to routines, children become familiar with their classroom, teachers and peers. Tiny Tops supports emotional readiness, independence and early friendships, creating a positive start to school life.

Kindergarten Transition Matters

The transition to school is an exciting milestone in every child’s learning journey. Programs like Tiny Tops give children the opportunity to explore, play and connect before their first day of Kindergarten. These early experiences with teachers, routines and peers build confidence, independence and a sense of belonging, helping children feel ready and supported as they begin school life.

Frequently asked questions
